Stop treating dinner as an obligatory task, and start making your meals more meaningful and satisfying! When people come together with the simple purpose of sharing a meal and leave the table happier, healthier and a little more connected to each other, then I’ve done my job. As a personal chef I help my clients get to the dinner table in a timely manner, without the hassle and stress of thinking up a recipe, making a trip to the grocery store, and having to prepare/cook and clean-up, or the expense and inconvenience of visiting a restaurant. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner with your family, a celebratory evening with friends or a quick lunch during a day at the office – my goal is to always provide a flavorful and nourishing meal.
Personal chef services can be perfect on a regular weekly/bi-weekly/monthly contract service basis, or for a one-time event (great for stocking the freezer or packing a cooler for a beach vacation). Dinner parties and cooking classes are also available.
I am certified in Food Safety by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and am a member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA) and Slow Food Atlanta

Chef Lea is a life long lover of food, who has traveled extensively and often jokes that she may not always remember the artwork she saw in a museum, but can certainly tell you what she ate in the museum café. This all-consuming love for discovering new flavors and creating recipes, lead Lea to pursue a culinary arts degree at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Atlanta. From there, she spent five years as sous-chef at Taste and Savor Inc., where she honed her healthy cooking techniques in the kitchen of the Chapman Family Cancer Wellness Center at Piedmont Hospital.
Chef Lea enjoys sharing her passion for all things culinary, through in home cooking classes and The Cook’s Warehouse. Lea is an active member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP), where she serves as the editor of the Cooking Schools and Teachers Newsletter. She is also a member of the national and local chapters of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA). Lea is currently the chef/owner of The Passionate Plate, personal chef service and working daily on her mission to “Make every plate something to be passionate about!”
Born and raised in the beautiful South Africa, I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family where food was the center for conversations and laughter.
I remember visiting my grandparents' farm where everything was made from scratch. The aromas in my grandmother's kitchen, where she cooked everything on a wood burning stove, still holds the fondest memories for me.
It's there that my food journey started, making butter in a mason jar, prepping vegetables from her garden and baking fresh, authentic bread.
I remain inspired by my experiences in the kitchen all those years ago and I am very excited about the shift back to those basics, using grass-fed beef and butter, organic vegetables and simple clean food. As a personal chef it is a joy to share my passion for healthy and nourishing food with my clients.
In 1999 after 18 years in the investment business for corporate America where he was fortunate enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in Atlanta, New York and Charlotte; Greg Cross decided it was time to make a change in his life. As a child growing up in South Georgia eating southern comfort food, and later developing his skills as a chef cooking for family and friends, preparing and enjoying food has always been an enormously fulfilling part of his life.
Once he decided that a personal chef career was right for him, Chef Greg fine-tuned his skills by working in the kitchen of a prominent Charlotte, NC country club and also by attending culinary classes. In the summer of 2000, he and his family came back to Atlanta to be closer to family and friends, and share his Passion for Food with his personal chef clientele.

We are available for private and group cooking classes, private parties, showers, brunches, birthday celebrations, or romantic dinners for 2. We can also service corporate events like team building cooking classes, cooking demos, lunches and grand openings.

After spending 16 years in the creative Medical Illustration and Animation Industry, I was no longer happy and it was time for a change. I quit my job and went to Culinary School! I earned my culinary arts degree at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Atlanta and then spent the next five years as the Chef and Kitchen Manager at a Cafe’ Restaurant in Buckhead. That was an amazing experience but it was time for me to start my own company. Leaf and Loaf was created and from that was born a Children’s Program called Fun with Food. I teach classes to elementary school aged children to help motivate, educate and inspire them to eat real food. I. LOVE. IT. You can also find me teaching classes at the Chapman Family Cancer Wellness Center at Piedmont Hospital, The Diabetes Teaching Kitchen at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and other fun venues like local farms and churches.

Chef Vedam has always been an avid cook; however, after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2014, Vedam had to teach himself how to cook all over again. Shortly after that Vedam heard about us here at the USPCA, and the rest is history!
Today, Chef Vedam is the executive chef and owner of the Vee Culinary Company, a Personal Chef & Concierge Catering Company based in the North Georgia Mountains and Atlanta.
Vedam is a self-taught chef, and his philosophy has always been to make sure that while his food may be gluten free, he guarantees that you would never know that in taste or texture. As a matter of fact, more than half of Vee Culinary’s clients aren’t gluten free; they just love his food.
Even though Vee Culinary focuses on the gluten free lifestyle, Vee Culinary’s philosophy is based around “food should create memories and not struggles.” And Vedam’s personal philosophy of food is “delicious food is an alchemy created from great ingredients and love!”
As part of those ‘great ingredients,’ Chef Vedam has created and uses his own proprietary blend of gluten free flour, as well as his own gluten free spice blends. He is also the author of his own gluten free cook book, “Vedam’s Gluten Free & Fabulous! Recipes From A Southern Gay Househusband.” He also has plans to release a series of virtual gluten free cooking classes very soon.
